Web design beginner needs help…

Q: Hi Gord. I’m trying to get started in web page design just basic stuff . Is there anything out there that can help me?  What I’ve found so far is way above my head to understand. I don’t want to learn HTML or have to pay a lot for software – I’m just a poor university student. lol  Thanks – Chad

A: Hi Chad … try out the freeware program “Web Page-O-Matic” >>> http://www.docsdownloads.com/Tier1/webpage-designer.htm.

It’s pretty simple to learn, it’s intuitive and best of all IT’S FREE!! It comes in 2 versions – “Business Edition” and “Personal Edition”. It depends on what you’re doing your website for. If it’s about your University studies and yourself, go for the Personal one. If you’re after trying to make some extra cash for your studies, get the Buiness one. Either way you can’t beat the price.

Good luck – hope this helps.

End-ItAll2 – a MUST-HAVE Freeware Utility!!

Has your computer frozen up? Are you frustrated trying to play games? Well the problem is usually related to all the “background programs” running on your system that you’re probably not even aware of.

I keep telling folks to get a FREE copy of “End-It-All 2″. It’s a handy dandy little utility that shuts down all running programs except the ones absolutely required to keep Windows running, and any others that you elect to exempt or lockdown from the shutdown process. You don’t even have to install it — just click on it and then “kill all”. It takes only a few seconds to run it and you don’t have to go through all the hassles of rebooting into safe mode, etc. I also use it whenever I’m installing any new software and when using burning software to burn a CD/DVD or doing any drive maintenance and defragging.

EndItAll 2 is also an ultra powerful Windows process killer than attempts to rid your system of those files that have either frozen your system or simply refuse to budge. However, unlike the Windows very basic “process manager”, it also indicates what program each process relates to which prevents you from shutting down anything essential. This is the real beauty of this free utility.

However, the program will not close everything – it will stop short of closing anything essential anyway so it’s really idiot proof. The interface is really simple and it certainly looks a lot better than Windows own Process Manager. If you need to suddenly free up some RAM, it’s a much better option and vastly more powerful.
